Alleluia. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest
Lux Aurumque

Light, warm and heavy as pure gold,
and the angels sing softly to the new-born baby.
Nine Sili Nebesniya
Giuseppi Sarti
(Sung in Russian)
Now the powers of heaven serve invisibly
with us; lo, the King of Glory enters.
Lo, the mystical sacrifice is upborne, fulfilled.
Let us draw new in faith and love
and become communicants of life eternal.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Dziedot Dzimu, Dziedot Augu
Latvian folk song, arr. Alfreds Kalninsv
(Sung in Latvian)
I was born to sing, so I sing; I will always
sing and fill my life with joy.
Matchless is my gift of speaking;
matchless if my gift of song.
Mountains shake and forests echo
when I sing my song.
People listen to my singing; they are
saying I sing like a nightingale.
Come and join me nightingale, to the pasture,
we and all the cows will go.
You sing in the linden tree, you sing with me,
shepherd; I will always sing.
